About

In Hush you play as a fragile human who has become prey in a world infested with monsters. These creatures cannot see – they use sound to find you. Use stealth to survive. Some surfaces make more noise than others, and the faster you move the louder you get. With this knowledge, navigate through an abandoned town in search of other survivors.

How to play

Hush also has an in-game tutorial.

Use WASD (Left Stick on controller) to move.

Press C/Ctrl (B/Circle on controller) to toggle sneak mode. You will move slowly but make less sound. (This can be switched to "hold" in the settings.)

Staying undetected is not always possible. Hold Shift (R1/RB on controller) to sprint. (This can be switched to "toggle" in the settings.)

However, you cannot outrun this enemy for long. Sneak away and make no sound to lose your pursuer.

Soft surfaces, such as grass, allow you to move quietly. Hard surfaces, such as asphalt, are loud. When timed right, loud noises in the environment can be used to hide your footsteps entirely.
